This item features genuine Akoya cultured pearls. These pearls are cultured in Chinese ocean waters by Japanese owned pearl farms and directly imported from China. They are the same quality as Japanese AA+ grade cultured pearls, but they are priced lower. Pearl Information:Size: 6.5-7MM, Grade: AA+. Luster: High. Nacre: Thick. Blemish: 5% to 10% of pearls may have very light blemish. Shape: Round. Color: Good body color with deep overtone. Origin: China. Price listed below is per inch, including knotting. For an 18-inch necklace, you would order 17 inches of pearls. That allows 1 inch for the clasp. You have to order the clasp separately by going back to the main catalog page and choosing the clasp category. To order 17 inches of pearls, put 17 in the Quantity box. Minimum order is 5 inch.
