We use the G.I.A. Gem Pearl Master Comparison Set to actually compare with the pearls we grade. For Tahitian pearls, we use The Guide for Grading Tahitian pearls provided by the Tahitian Government. Our South Sea pearls are graded using the standards established by The South Sea Pearl Consortium, the trade association of South Sea Pearl farmers and distributors.
